B3rd Athletics

As we come to know God more deeply, we begin to move away from sin and from putting ourselves first. Our relationship with Him grows, and little by little, we become 3rd—God first, others second, ourselves third.

Things that once didn’t seem like a big deal begin to bother us because knowing Jesus changes us. The closer we draw to Him, the more we desire to become like Him, and the less comfortable we become with anything that pulls us away from Him.

The reality is that the Journey to Becoming 3rd isn’t a journey to some distant place. The life God is calling us to is often much closer than we realize. We simply struggle to see it because of our attachment to ourselves, our comfort, and our sinful inclinations.
